[Ubuntu-ch] Sugar and Ubuntu

I'm not exactly sure what you are aiming at:

     - Sugar on top of Fedora 10 already exists -
see

http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Sugar_on_a_Stick
       and this would probably make
getting sugar to run
       on top of
Ubuntu more or less an exercise in packaging,
       resp. package conversion from .rpm
to .deb.

     -
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Sugar_on_Ubuntu has hints for

the emulation as well as for a
development environment and

"Subuntu:Ubuntu Live USB/SD system that boots into Sugar"

   - Sugar on top of jaunty also exists, cf:

http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Community/Distributions/Ubuntu
and "is packaged and maintained by
the Ubuntu Sugar team".

So what exactly do you want to
accomplish with the project?

Cheers,
Wolf
