Is Find-A-Task Broken? How can we fix it?

Find-A-Task is a style of 'Job Board' to match teams and new volunteers.

It was introduced in January 2015[1]. The idea for a job board had
floated around for a few years, but crystallized in late 2014 in e-mail
discussions among the Ubuntu Community Team[2].

>From the scant data available so far, Find-A-Task seems rather a waste.

I have not found any anecdotes of Find-A-Task use at all. No stories of
teams posting and being rewarded with new contributors. No anecdotes of
new participants who found their role using the tool.
The posted jobs (roles) are mostly unchanged from January.

Does anyone have any Find-A-Task success stories?

If Find-A-Task is under-used, how can we convince teams that it's worth
their effort to post roles?
How can we convince mentors and gurus that it's a worthwhile tool to
steer new participants toward?

Cheers,

Ian
