Lyx-Installation

Hallo liebe Ubuntu-Kundige,

gern möchte ich auf meinem Breezy-System LyX ans Laufen kriegen.
Mit dem fertigen deb-package gab's so einige Schwierigkeiten (z.B. beim
Drucken), so dass ich jetzt an die Quellen ran möchte.
Ich habe mir die Version 1.3.6 von der LyX-Seite heruntergeladen.
./configure meldet ganz am Schluss:

> **** The following problems have been detected by configure.
> **** Please check the messages below before running 'make'.
> **** (see the section 'Problems' in the INSTALL file)
> 
> ** Cannot find X window libraries and/or headers. Check your installation.
>    If you use a Linux system, check that you have installed
>    the development tools.


Laut Synaptic habe ich aber sowohl libX11-6 als auch libX11-dev
installiert. Wie bringe ich das denn jetzt dem ./configure-Skript bei?
