Segfault von smtpd

Hallo zusammen,

ich möchte unter Ubuntu Dapper einen Mailserver aufsetzen und habe mich
dabei grob an
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/PostfixCompleteVirtualMailSystemHowto
sowie http://workaround.org/articles/ispmail-sarge/ orientiert. Dabei
hab ich folgende Pakete installiert:
postfix-tls postfix-mysql courier-authdaemon courier-authmysql
courier-imap-ssl libsasl2 libsasl2-modules libsasl2-modules-sql

Der Courier läuft auch soweit. SpamAssassin, maildrop und amavis sind
bisher noch nicht installiert. Authentifizierung über den
courier-authdaemon klappt (zumindest beim Imap-Server).

Wenn ich jetzt versuche eine eMail über SMTP-Auth zu verschicken
Segfaultet der smtpd. Passwort und User stimmen. Wo kann ich jetzt noch
ansetzen?

Ich habs auch schon per Telnet und auth-plain probiert, das Passwort
wird auch richtig decoded, trotzdem "killed by signal 11"
