Probleme mit Riva TNT2 und Edgy

Hallo,

ein bekannter von mir hat einen Rechner mit einer Nvidia Riva TNT2. Doch
die Grafik ist sehr langsam. Damit meine ich lediglich die 3D Leistung.
3D interessiert erstmal nicht. Das betrachten von Videos ist unmÃ¶glich,
da es merklich ruckelt und selbst beim GDM Anmelde-Bildschirm oder
verschieben von Fenstern lÃ¤sst sich der Bildaufbau deutlich verfolgen.

Ich habe sowohl versucht die Grafikkarte mit dem nv als auch dem nvidia
Treiber zu betreiben. Doch es gibt keine merkliche Verbesserung.

Der Rechner lief vorher mit Hoary und hatte keine solchen Probleme. Es
ist ein Athlon 1.x GHz mit 512MB RAM. Der Rechner wurde erst auf Dapper
und dann auf Edgy aktualisiert. 

Anbei xorg.conf und die Ausgabe von lspci. Mit Tipps wie ich den Fehler
ausfindig machen kann.
