Gutsy-Problem, nur Anmeldung möglich

Hallo,
auf meinem AMD64 mit einer NVIDIA Geforce 6600V+ mit 512 MB/DDR2
beobachte ich nach dem Update auf 7.10 amd64 das gleiche Phaenomen.
Im abgesicherten Gnome fehlt dann zwar das 3D-NVIDIA-Logo,
aber sonst scheint alles ok.
Habe es auf zu wenig Video-RAM zurueckgefuehrt.
Scheint aber doch andere Ursachen zu haben.
Habe noch nicht ausprobiert, ob sich etwas aendert, wenn
ich den NVIDIA-Treiber manuell einspiele.
