Doppeltes Anfuehrungszeichen in Kile

Hallo,

ich verwende Kile unter Gnome mit Ubuntu Feisty. Hab es aber seit Edgy
bestimmt nicht mehr benutzt. Nun ist mir aufgefallen, dass wenn ich ein
doppeltes Anführungszeichen eintippe (") dieses automatisch in zwei
Backticks (``) verwandelt wird. 

Wie kann ich diese Textersetzung abschalten? Hab schon die Einstellungen
von Kile durchwühlt.
