Sound Server XUbuntu 8.10

Hallo,

die Leute vom Xfce-Desktop verweisen
mich an euch (s.u.). 
Bei Versionen < 8.10 war die Audio-Welt
noch in Ordnung.
Habe ich etwas uebersehen/ueberlesen?
