Wenn VLC den Index neu baut, ist da irgendwas nicht ganz richtig.

Versuch mal in der Konsole mit mencoder folgenden Befehl:

mencoder -forceidx -noodml -oac copy -ovc copy -o Ausgabe.avi Eingabe.avi

Danach probiers noch mal mit VLC ;-)
