Videodatei wird im Firefox abgespielt aber nicht in mplayer und Co

Hei Leute,

eine flv-Datei, die online im Browser via adobeflashplayerplugin
abgespielt wird, lässt sich mit keinem Programm unter Hardy 8.04
abspielen.

Irgendwie muss man doch das Teil auch offline abspielen können. Dafür
muss man wohl irgendwelche Audio und Videocodecs nachrüsten, aber
welche? Ansonsten kann ich alle FLV, MP4 und Konsorten soweit ohne
Probleme abspielen.
