Paketverwaltung synaptic will mir u.a. compiz und ubuntu-desktop löschen

Hallo Forum,

dass es bei Betaversionen vorkommen kann, dass Pakete veröffentlicht 
werden, deren Abhängigkeiten noch nicht auf den Servern zu finden sind 
ist a) bekannt und b) nicht weiter tragisch.

  Nun will aber  synaptic mein "Lucid in the sky with diamonds" 
nachhaltig verstümmeln, indem es bei der Aktualisierung von 
_metacity-common_ unter anderem compiz, ubuntu-desktop, gnome-applets, 
gnome-control-center und auch _metacity_ (???) entfernen will [1].

  Habt Ihr ähnliche Erfahrungen bereits gemacht ?
Gibt sich das wieder?
