ubuntu stops starting process +shows command line BusyBox?

Hi,

I have a serious problem, because of being in Ghana for scientific work but
since now ubuntu interrupts starting process showing the command line 

"Busy Box v 1.18.4 (2Ubuntu2 1:1.18.4)"
initraints (Built-in commands) 

Does please anybody tell me what I could do to use either command line or
might anything do to fix the problem? Unfortunately much of my work is on
the hard disk.
