how do i get started?

Hi,

I am interested in becoming developer for ubuntu. I am currently working
full time but during my free time i want to contribute to ubuntu by
becoming a developer. I have no i idea what steps i need to take. Please
provide me further instruction and what are the requirements to become a
ubuntu developer.
