Hmm, you know games are a bit unique compared with other applications.
With regular apps, you want to see one app stay around and become more
and more stable. But with games, it's always, "What new games do we
have now?" So, "long term" and "3D games" really don't go together. ;-)
I've a sense that what would appeal best to gamers would be more of a
seasonal thing, something like "Coolest New Games".
If I'm a gamer and like some older game like, say, FreeCiv, then I'm
likely to be well aware of it already and can do a search and install
it. But the hot new games I probably need some advice for, and USC
would be the perfect venue for finding out.
