Khurshid Alam has proposed merging lp:~khurshid-alam/unity-settings-daemon/drop-gnomebg into lp:unity-settings-daemon.

Commit message:
  Copy background drawing code from libgnome-desktop

  * Gnomebg no longer provides gdkx/x related api. So copy the code here so that it can be used with other unity components.
