You have contributed in significant ways to a very broad set of the
Ubuntu Desktop packages. In addition to your work in Ubuntu and
Debian, you have also pushed bug fixes and other improvements upstream
too. I am confident that you have demonstrated sufficient expertise
with the Ubuntu Desktop packages to be entrusted with upload rights
for these packages. +1 from me.

I do not think it is too early as you have done this week sustained
for one year.

I'm disappointed that your Contributing Developer application got
stuck (not your fault) since we are encouraging other people to take
that path on the way to upload rights. However, I believe now was the
right time for you to apply for Ubuntu Desktop upload rights.
