Thank you for the respond Alexander....Any ideas 'bout some of the 
problems the testing group has been having?

My experience with the second update was similar to a crash--I has 
update manager in the background & was typing a post to the forums---so 
I would guess that the keystrokes "confused" the update...all came back 
after the reboot, but someone else in the testing group has totally lost 
GDM...if you have the time, you might drop in to the forum thread & read 
the last several pages.....
