This is a new NUC14MNK computer that we use.
The network device is not recognized. We do network installs so this
is a problem.
How can I get the updated realtek driver in the release of 24.04.2 ???
This is the driver:
https://github.com/awesometic/realtek-r8125-dkms/archive/master.zip -O
realtek-8125-dkms.zip
I happened to try 24.10 and 25.04 both had the same issue - no network.
here is the info

Kernel driver in use: r8125
Kernel modules: r8169, r8125
ALSO - I presume this is not possible adding to 24.04.2 - HOW do I add the
kernel module to the ISO. I do already create a custom ISO - I have the
r8125.ko.zst file -
I am running HWE version of hte install.
How do I make it RECOGNIZE this module.
I tried:
unsquash ubuntu-server-minimal.ubuntu-server.installer.generic-hwe.squashfs
cp r8125.ko.zst
squashfs-root/usr/lib/modules/6.11.0-17-generic/kernel/drivers/net/ethernet/realtek
mksquashfs squashfs-root
ubuntu-server-minimal.ubuntu-server.installer.generic-hwe.squashfs -comp xz
I verified on the ISO - the r8125 file is present - but the BOOT process
does not find it and load it.
How can I get that working ?
Thanks!
Jerry
