hehe allright I admit I'm a religious fanatic
I was imitating religious flames. I little humor won't hurt anyone
right.
But seriously what I did mean what I say (by including those links) :
The only way to gain marketshare on windows is if we nerds encourage
everyone to try an open-source desktop like Ubuntu. Let's make linux
easier to use.
Why would we nerds want a bigger marketshare for linux ?
Because that way linux will become better :
- we will save ourselves time doing uninteresting windows-manintance
- we will get less virusses in our email-boxes
- linux hardware support will be better
- we will get native cutting edge games (not only some but the majority
will also run in linux)
For avarage-desktop-users this should mean :
- no spyware
- no viruses
- as easy as windows
