It has taken some time to establish a proper process for these bounty
projects, but the way forward should be clear now.  We'll discuss the
specification here, and when we reach a consensus, use the result as the
formal specification for the project.  This will be the standard by which
submissions will be judged.

I agree that the UI should be simple.  I'm CCing Jeff Waugh for input from
the desktop team (both on these points and the ones I posted previously),
since this is very much a desktop-oriented project.
