The efivars module is not loaded (manually or through hotplug). So far, 
all these messages have not caused any issues on the i2000 and the 
zx2000 i'm trying ubuntu on.

Do the ubuntu core devs have any concern adding this module in 
/etc/modules ? I see that modules such as atkbd, i8042 are already in 
that list.
