Hi I am not sure if anyone responded to this...
Have you had a look at:
http://udu.wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDownUnder/BreezyGoals ? 
This is what is currently being worked on for the Breezy release, much
of the stuff you mentioned is included.
