faster daily distribution

I am not sure how many people pull 
http://us.releases.ubuntu.com/cdimage/daily/current/something.iso, but I have a 
feeling that applying a modified Bit Torrent client to that process would help - 
basically combine the "only send updates" feature of rsync with the "distribute 
the load" of BT.

I wrote about it http://p2p.noreply.org/p2p/DirDistribution and got some interest 
in #bittorrent and #p2p-hackers.

It would add a step to the top of the distribution food chain, so if there isn't 
really a problem that needs solving, no point in coding a solution.

So, is there any point in perusing this?
