System recover

Just went through a hassle trying to recover a system.  Eventually
dropped a Fedora Core disk in and recovered Ubuntu with that.  FC has
the nice feature that if you type rescue it will search the system for
your install and then tell you to chroot.  Easy, easy to recover.  Hope
Breezy can match something like this.
