preview release: kernel 2.6.11-1 input device lockup

Hello

just installed hoary preview release, works good until i upgrade to
latest kernel, 2.6.11-1.
my laptop is a dell inspiron 5150 3ghz. it is SMP capable, but it is not
enabled now.

When you boot on the 2.6.11-1 kernel, there's an error msg right at the
beginning saying (this is the obvious stuff that seems to differ from
the boot of 2.6.10-4):

i8042.c Cant read CTR while initializing i8042.

from then every input is locked up. Never had that pb before. It happens
everytime.
