Laptop Testing

The problems with the 852/855 Intel Motherboard/graphics chipset based
laptops running widescreen resolutions is fixable via a program called
855resolution. There are a number of guides written on fixing this here
on this board-though I would say that out-of-the-box support for Breezy
for these resolutions would be a big selling point for Ubuntu. I see
that some of the posters here are running ATI and/or NVIDIA graphics
chipsets-these seem much easier to edit.



No distro seems to nail these resolutions 100% of the time from my
reading. This seems to point to an issue with Xorg, in my opinion.
