C++ ABI change -- current state

This really deserves a lot of applause!
Unfortunately, I didn't help there as much as I would have liked to, but
the work all of you did, was simply amazing. You're a rocking team and
each of you should reward yourself with your favourite whatever. :)
For everybody who'd like to get involved: this is your change to be part
of a big transition and get into packaging and making stuff work.
Everbody involved will assure you: it's a GOOD feeling to make stuff
work! As Matthias pointed out: #ubuntu-motu on irc.freenode.net should
be your point of contact for this.
