I verified the results on my own systems as well, and invited the developer
community at large to repeat the experiment for themselves.  Our hypothesis
was based on knowledge about the kernel, and has been backed up by
experimental data which, while necessarily limited, is compelling.

Any additional data you can provide through your own observations is welcome
in this discussion.
