Distroteam means most of the time the paid-devs of Ubuntu, which are mostly 
listed in the ubuntu-core-dev team on LP. This team is as well covered with 
people which are not paid by Canonical, but coming from the volunteer team of 
MOTU.

Oh well, Daniel did quite a bunch of contributions to Ubuntu. Regarding the 
fact, that he is a very nice, funny, carismatic and awesome guy, has a bear 
soft toy, red hair, and that he is one of the people who were bringing Soyuz 
to the Ubuntu infrastructure, I think he is very welcomed as Member (and as 
well as MOTU :))
