Kernel 2.6.16 for Dapper LTS?

Our situation might be a possible intermediate scenario.  The
"sata_mv" driver is present in Dapper but considered, relatively,
buggy by developers.  It's still good enough, however, to do an
install.  Will the bug fixes in 2.6.16 and 2.6.17 make their way into
the "sata_mv" driver of the dapper kernel?
