Yes, you're probably right. Just adding the redirect would be very
simple. Wikipedia seems to do something like this as well (cf.
http://en.wikipedia.org/Ubuntu).

Some of the code involved (namely the build script[1], sql files, and
config files[1]) do not pertain to a particular package as such, so I
don't think a tag is sufficient. I'm not sure if we're better off with a
generic "ubuntu-virtual-appliances" project or a
"ubuntu-mediawiki-appliance" project, though.
