At a meeting at UBZ which I wasn't present for, it was decided that Jeff
and I would take the lead on the Cookbook. I really liked the original,
and said "OK" when told about it later. Neither Jeff nor I were savvy
with Docbook, and Jeff already knew Lore. Some Docteam folks said "Don't
worry about method, focus on content. We'll convert it from whatever to
whatever." So, that's what we're doing. I had started learning Docbook,
but the message was that it wasn't necessary, and since Lore's pretty easy,
I went with Jeff's preference for it. We're moving forward rather than
learning the ins and outs of Docbook.

I didn't know about the SVN version. I started with what was on the
wiki, plus the original tuxLab author's (Jean Jordaan) SVN tree, but
converted it to bzr. Then Jeff and I started changing it before I
understood that Launchpad only appears to pull in SVN. So, now I'm
thinking I should briefly convert back to SVN, tell Launchpad about
it, so that Launchpad can convert it back to bzr... which seems a bit
silly, but would put the file out where pull and push both theoretically
work. (Where it is now, you can only pull or branch from it. No push.)

Is there a simpler way to get the stuff we've done out onto Launchpad
(as opposed to merely having Launchpad point to the bzr branch on my
little web server)?
