I can, once given permission, eliminate the huge wastage in our style 
sheets. But the rest of the issues Stuart outlined -- using HTTP, 
controlling cacheability, running parts of Launchpad over HTTP, 
optimizing pages -- need to be done by someone more comfortable with 
the infrastructure, so I probably wouldn't be an appropriate lead for 
them.

Anyway, I've put 
https://wiki.launchpad.canonical.com/LaunchpadPerformance on the list 
of proposed BoFs.
