Porting multiple language paegs from w.u.c to h.u.c/c

I'm making good headway on porting the remaining CategoryDocument pages from w.u.c to h.u.c/c, but have a question regarding languages.

The majority of the pages left are in languages that I unfortunately do not speak. I currently see Bulgarian, Vietnamese, Portugese, and Spanish. Is it relatively safe to just copy and paste them whole from one wiki to the other, or is there a chance that language character set issues (or lack thereof) on my local laptop might munge them up in some way?
