It looks like the project used to have a dual CC-BY-SA , GFDL license.
Thus, the old version of this document is still under the GFDL, if it
comes to that.

I'm curious about why the Doc Team is reportedly
(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DocumentationTeam/License) switching to
CC-BY-SA alone. I have never heard of a major project using this alone
for documentation. The GFDL, and even GPL, are much more common. GNU
for instance specifically warns against this license for docs.

Why wouldn't CC-BY-SA allow that?

Finally, wouldn't KDE also benefit from the Kubuntu version of this?
Almost all of this applies to them equally.
