Subject: Ubuntu wiki pages print strangely from Firefox
To: ubuntu-users at lists.ubuntu.com
I have a minor annoyance that I've been ignoring for several months now:
On a Breezy box using Firefox 1.0.7, and Deja Vu fonts...
When I print pages that have a line of text with a horizontal rule under
it (like several of the headings on the wiki pages), the horizontal rule
moves up to the center of the heading text when printing, giving an effect
that looks more like strike-through. This also occurs when I print-preview
the page.
I notice the problem most often when printing wiki.ubuntu.com pages but
think I've seen the problem occur elsewhere.
Any ideas? Thanks.
