adept adeptguide

I would like to contribute to the adept guide in 
~/ubuntu-doc/kubuntu/adeptguide/C. I checked out the CVS repository and cd to 
~/ubuntu-doc/kubuntu/. I typed make adept to build the adeptguide. I was 
expecting index.html in ~/ubuntu-doc/kubuntu/build/kubuntu/adeptguide/ but I 
got 3 files instead:
figures  index.cache.bz2  index.docbook

I did "docbook2html index.docbook > index.html" to produce the doc web page. I 
got a lot of errors:

Although I still got index.html produced, I did not understand why I got so 
many errors there. Was I doing it right? yelp also produced errors when I did 
the following:

The yelp GUI window showed the following error:

Could not load section
The section ‘(null)’ does not exist in this document. If you were directed to 
this section from a Help button in an application, please report this to the 
maintainers of that application.

I don't know how to fix them. I did not get any error when I was operating on 
~/ubuntu-doc/ubuntu/aboutubuntu/C/about-ubuntu.xml. It worked with make to 
produce index.html and yelp to produce the doc.

Please tell me what is going on here. I even validated the xml file and it did 
not have any error output:
