I'm sure we can sort you out with a mentor. I'm afraid that I already
have quite a few mentoring students myself...

You mentioned that you would like to write about Ubuntu for designers,
musicians and artists. How would you feel about writing guides for those
user groups which are similar in concept to the documentation about
photos on the wiki [1]?
