Thanks! It looks like the most appropriate place for much of this would
be in one of the "Switching to Ubuntu" pages [1]. There's already a
table about packaging there, but I'll have a go at merging some of the
material later on today.
I'll also try to add the information on "Apt Related Tools" somewhere
too, maybe in the format of a "quick reference".
