documentation mentoring

I'll gladly work on Xubuntu docs, although my current install of it is
dapper, should I install feisty or gutsy? Probably gutsy since that's
what we're aiming for as the next release? One tool that I have no
experience with is SVN, so I'll definitely need some pointers in that
direction.
