Ok, here is my first patch of any noteable size.  Most of it is just
Xubuntu-ized Ubuntu documentation, but I did try to tidy up the "What is a
package manager?" portion.  If the reviewers like that portion, then I can
submit a separate patch for the Ubuntu documentation.  There are a few other
minor updates, too.

The patch validates . . .   but I still see this as a draft.  Hopefully
we're headed in a good direction.  Thanks, all.
