Great news. It is great to see more info on JeOS getting out, thanks,
Nick!
My major comment is that it should cover, and even highlight, use by
free software like Qemu and XEN.
If the .iso doesn't work well with those yet, perhaps it is even more
important to cover ubuntu-jeos-builder even though that isn't released
yet and has to be loaded from the bzr branch or ppa:
https://code.launchpad.net/ubuntu-jeos
since it is so much faster and easier to use than the iso (in my
experience at least). I've covered that tool just a bit in this forum
thread:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=3731057&postcount=40
and I'm happy to expand that to a full wiki page once we figure out
where it should be.
I'd propose an outline like this for differentiating JeOS itself
vs the VMs you can use it from.
Definitions, overview, linux-virtual kernel diffs, .iso
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/JeOS
and a howto for ubuntu-jeos-builder or whatever we call it, which
should probably be at wiki.ubuntu.com rather than help.ubuntu.com
since it is really in development.
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/JeOS-Builder ??
and perhaps quick HowTo's running thru the use of
the iso (and builder?) with qemu, xen, vmware etc in
sub pages like this, with links to the more extensive pages
on those technologies elsewhere:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/JeOS/VMware
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/JeOS/Qemu
...
