Hello,
My name is Louis Prince and I'm interested in helping out with Ubuntu
Documentation.
I've been using Ubuntu and other Linux distributions for about a year now
and feel that I want to help improve the experience for others. Since I am
more of an end user who knows little about coding or graphic design I
thought it best I help with Documentation.
So, with your kind permission I would like to join in with your mentoring
program so that I can learn how to do things correctly and start making a
contribution. Then maybe when I'm good enough I can move on...but we'll have
to see first ;)
If you would let me help I think I'd be best writing for Linux/Ubuntu
beginners and helping people switch over from windows. I could also lend
some hand in subjects such as media files/players and audio related subjects
as these are the sorts of things I know best.
Also, I would be quite happy proof reading other peoples work when then
produce a new article etc...
I can probably spend about 5 hours a week on this if I'm needed -weekends
are the best time to set me work as I have school throughout the week.
Anyway, sorry to bore your head off with all this writing and I wish you to
have a fantastic day
--Louis
