Sorry to hijack this thread but i wondered how you were going to do this:

and on a related subject do you know of some way of doing docbook -> ReStructuredText conversion.??

Concerning your idea I think it will definitely give easier access to people for editing. In fact
i am thinking of using some parts of it for a packaging chapter for the next UME guide. Helping
out with this move and tidying up could be the excuse i need to start compiling it!
