Thanks for the patch, it looks good! I found a few minor issues:

      * "each of the thee sets" => "each of the three sets"
      * "permissions and how they effect files" => "permissions and
        how they affect files"
      * "directories can be entered" - this aspect of file permissions
        must seem a little strange to Windows users, so they might not
        immediately know what is meant by "entering" a directory. It
        might be worth being a bit more explicit here, e.g. "the
        contents of the directory can be viewed".
      * "to update this index run the command
        <application>updatedb</application>." - while you do mention
        that the command needs administrative privileges, it's probably
        best to put the full "sudo updatedb" instead of just "updatedb",
        as there's no guarantee that a user will read the following
        sentences after finding the name of the command.
      * It could also be worth noting that updatedb takes quite a while
        to index the whole filesystem, and doesn't give any output.
