The problem with installing totem-xine is that it replaces
totem-gstreamer, which has nice features like automatic codec
installation. If -xine has this too, then it would be OK to recommend
installing that package, but I'm not sure that it does.

Alternatively, VLC seems to be able to playback DVDs well, and can
coexist with totem-gstreamer. The only issue is that it's not very
user-friendly.
