Proposal: Create product for each derivative's documentation

Hey all,

I guess I'm not clear on what the advantages are? So far you've listed:

"I can't link the xubuntu documentation package to the xubuntu
documentation bazaar branch."

I guess I'm not sure quite what that means or what the advantages are of
it? What kind of link are you wanting to create?

The other advantage you listed is:

" I'm tired of getting bugmail for kubuntu and ubuntu docs - they are
_never_ relevant to me."

My thought is that there really isn't an overwhelming amount of traffic
generated from documentation bugs.

It seems to me that you see Xubuntu as being completely separate from
Ubuntu, and I for one don't see that as the case. The success of both
Ubuntu and Xubuntu are tied closely together in my eyes, so I agree with
Matt. Anything to help the community from fragmenting should be avoided.
Is this really a major "the world is coming to an end" issue? I'd say not,
but to me the positives do not outweigh the negatives.

Just my thoughts, and either way I think it's good to bring these type of
ideas to discussion. Thanks Cody and Matt for the work you do.
