Hey Matthew,

Yes you can duel boot vista and ubuntu. Do u have 2 hard drives? If you do, you could put ubuntu on one and vista on the other. If you don't, you could put ubuntu on one partition and vista on the other. I have mine set up with ubuntu and vista on seperate drives so I could help you with that. You could also post in the support forums for ubuntu (google ubuntu forums, I dont know the url off the top of my head, i'm on my blackberry).  They are very helpful over there.

i have just ran the ubuntu live cd to get an overview of everything that i've been hearing from my friends. i found ubuntu wonderful but would like to know if i can install ubuntu and also keep windows vista. is this possible? 
if yes, when i am in need of uninstalling ubuntu how can i uninstall it without having to delete windows vista - i.e just uninstall the ubuntu. 
  
i would be very happy to hear from you and am waiting excitedly so that i can install ubuntu with no troubles in mind.
