Hi Jonathans,
As far as I'm concerned you guys should have the final say over what
changes are made to Kubuntu docs after the freeze. I'm just concerned
to make sure that the process is followed, because it is there for a
reason: translators need a heads up about changes this close to the
release because they have little chance to get the new material
translated otherwise. Also, I can see why some of the changes are
necessary, but quite a few of the others are non-essential grammatical
changes which are totally unsuitable for freeze exceptions. Discussion
in advance would probably have rooted those out.
That said, I think the translations are so messed up anyway at the
moment due to Launchpad issues that it probably doesn't matter. But
it's important that the whole team is aware of the processes to follow
because they do matter, they are not just arbitrary.
