Hello Dougie,

thanks a lot for your best wishes and support and thanks for your work
in the Doc team!

What sparked my interest in your mail was that you called other team
members "apathetic". Having worked with lots of Ubuntu community groups
and having started community initiatives with varying degrees of success
I know how disheartening and at times frustrating it can be not to get
any feedback.

Sometimes it's a bad timing for a new idea, or major contributors have
more important stuff to take care of, sometimes the documentation of the
idea is not good enough, etc. As I said: it can be lots and lots of things.

There's lot of reasons for why things like that can go wrong, I just
think that giving up and calling your team mates "apathetic" is
hopefully not your final verdict on the matter and you try your
initiative again.

Please don't see my mail as sidelining you into a discussion or a
telling off, but more as an encouragement to try again at some time. I'm
sure that Ubuntu Doc team members are not really "apathetic".

Have a great day,
 Daniel
